How to Book an Appointment

You can make an appointment in the following ways:

We use an appointment system because we believe that this gives you the convenience of knowing when you will be seen and enables us to plan our workload most effectively.

Appointments are for one problem for ten minutes with a GP if you feel you need more than one problem discussed please let our patient care navigators know at the time of the booking.

Our Patient Care Navigators are trained to signpost and navigate you to the most appropriate member of our clinical team. In order to do this effectively they will ask you questions for the reason for the appointment request.

There may be opportunities for patients to have appointment booked on Wednesday evenings, between 18:30 and 20:00 as well as one Saturday in each month 09:00 – 17:00 as part of our enhanced access provision.

Cancelling an Appointment

If you make an appointment and are then unable to keep it, please let the
practice know using our Cancel an Appointment triage so that we may offer the appointment to another patient.

If you do not arrive for an appointment and you do not cancel it, we may enter into a patient contract with you specially on appointment attendance.
